Delete your account

You can delete your AceReward account and personal data at any time. This page explains exactly what happens, and lets you request deletion without the app.

Deletion is permanent and can't be undone. Your coin balance is forfeited, so cash out first if you want to. You can sign up again later, but a deleted account and its balance can't be restored.

Option 1: delete instantly in the app

The fastest way, and it takes effect immediately:

  1. Open the AceReward app.
  2. Go to Profile, then the Settings tab.
  3. Tap Delete account.
  4. Type Delete, then confirm.

Option 2: request deletion from this page

If you no longer have the app, enter the email address on your account. We'll verify that it's yours and delete the account for you.

What is deleted

When your account is deleted, the following happens straight away:

  • Your account is closed and all devices are signed out.
  • Your login credentials stop working: you can't sign back in.
  • Any remaining coin balance is set to zero and forfeited.
  • Your saved payout destinations and any pending password-reset links are removed.

What is kept, and for how long

Your remaining personal information (such as your email address, username and device identifiers) is kept for 30 days after deletion, then automatically deleted or irreversibly anonymized.

We keep it for this limited window because our reward partners can issue chargebacks, reversals and fraud notices weeks after an offer is completed, and we would otherwise be unable to investigate fraudulent or reversed activity. Under the GDPR, our legal basis is our legitimate interest in preventing fraud and abuse (Article 6(1)(f)).

After the 30 days, we permanently keep only:

  • A one-way cryptographic hash of your email address. It contains no readable personal information. If the same email is used to sign up again, it lets us link the new account to the deleted one for fraud prevention.
  • Anonymized transaction and ledger records with no personal identifiers attached, which we must keep for accounting and anti-fraud purposes.

Need help instead?

If you're having a problem with the app, a payout or an offer that didn't credit, we'd rather fix it than see you go. Email [email protected] and we'll take a look.

For anything else about your data, see our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
